1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MasterMate ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MasterMate.

2. Age Requirement

You must be 18 years of age or older to use MasterMate. By registering or accessing the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to terminate any account we suspect belongs to a minor, and to report suspected underage use to law enforcement where required.

Where age verification is offered via South African ID number, the verification is performed locally on your device. We do not store your ID number.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on MasterMate:

• No minors: Any sexual content involving persons under 18 is illegal and will result in immediate permanent banning and reporting to law enforcement
• No recording: Recording, screenshotting, or capturing any part of another user's video or audio feed without their explicit consent is prohibited
• No harassment: Threatening, bullying, stalking, or harassing other users
• No illegal content: Sharing or soliciting any content that is illegal in South Africa or the user's jurisdiction
• No solicitation: Soliciting money, personal information, or meeting users in person
• No impersonation: Pretending to be another person or falsifying your identity
• No malware or spam: Sharing links, files, or content designed to harm or deceive

4. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for all content you transmit through the Platform. MasterMate does not pre-screen video or audio content but reserves the right to investigate and act on reported violations. By using the Platform, you grant MasterMate a limited right to store text chat messages for moderation and safety purposes.

5. Privacy and Anonymity

MasterMate takes privacy seriously. We collect minimal information necessary to operate the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details. Your SA ID number, if entered for age verification, is validated locally and never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

6. Accounts and Sessions

Guest sessions are anonymous and limited to 15 minutes per chat. Registered free accounts also receive 15-minute sessions. Premium accounts receive 60-minute sessions and additional features. MasterMate reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice or refund.

7. Reporting and Moderation

Users are encouraged to report violations using the report button during chats. Reports of suspected minors are treated with the highest priority. Verified violations may result in permanent bans and, where legally required, reporting to law enforcement.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

MasterMate is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for user-generated content or the conduct of users. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform. The Platform is intended for entertainment purposes between consenting adults.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will display the effective date of the current version on this page.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in South African courts.
